Old illustration. It’s just another doodle in my practice of creating realistic skin tones. Later I found that the man is too handsome (lol) just to be left on my own doodle folder. Then I start to develop a ‘lil bit concept for him. It’s simply about red haired men with sixth senses who can feel when someone will die. Still, there’s nothing that he can do though.

I saw this book many times, but not really had interest to buy or read it until 10 days ago I made that decision.

A very nice book I must say. Tells us more about what goes into our mind – scientifically – when we make a quick decision in a blink. Sometimes people called it ‘intuition’. As for me this is interesting, since sometimes we ignore it maybe because we don’t want to think bad about anyone or anything if we don’t have proofs. Although the author suggests that we should trust that intuition, the book also explain that we shouldn’t trust it blindly. He gives some horrible stories that really happend when someone just follow it without trying to separate their guts from their ego, judgemet, people appearance, and more.

One of my favorite illustration I made. This is one of illustration I carefully thought the concept about. I think people could easily tells the story behind this, that’s what I hope actually. Yes, it’s about a person who still can’t let go their childhood or past – of not so good – memories.

Seeing the picture now, I realized that people can actually let go and forgive their past no matter how bad it is. Well, if they really want to of course And by let it go, by forgiving our past and most importantly forgiving ourself, we start to heal and set ourself free.

It is well known that people don’t always ‘speak their minds’, and it is suspected that people don’t always ‘know their minds’. Understanding such divergences is important to scientific psychology.

I heard some news from a friend of mine

One of my favorite title from Mitch Albom. I highly recommended this book. Especially for reader who looking for a book with positive, deep inspiring story of life.

The story is about Eddie, 83, works at amusement park since he was young. Though he never intended that he would spent his whole life stuck there. He participated in a war when he were young, and got very unfortunate accident at that time. That accident change his life, change himself, and until the end of his life he felt that himself, his life, his job, are meaningless.

By also unfortune event, he died. The story flashback through Eddie’s life since his childhood until the age when he’s dead in a place called Heaven. In this place he met five people from his life, while some of them he didn’t really recall. Each of them tell him the story of his life from their viewpoint, things that Eddie never know, things that keep him suffering and curse his life.

This book has very insightful messages, one of them is that we are really connected to each other, whether we realized it or not. Sometimes the connection is very vague, sometimes we may unintentionally suffer other’s life, and sometimes we just not realize that there are people who ‘sacrifice’ themself for us. On the other side, sometimes we may find how bad, how suffering the life is, though the real gift of life are sometimes covered behind it.
